Made in EDC by Pierre-Julien FOURNIER (EDC 2014)!
A graduate of the EDC in the class of 2014, Pierre-Julien Fournier has always had the desire to create and develop his own business. After his Master's degree in Entrepreneurial Management and a few years in the salaried sector as Sales Manager for an IT services company, Pierre-Julien decided to join forces with Florian Pothier to create Octopus Group in 2019.
Octopus Group is an IT engineering consultancy based in Paris, whose main missions are to work with the IT Systems Departments of key accounts to support them in all their technical and functional projects.
Octopus Group's main activity is to attract and retain tech talent to work with its customers on the evolution, digitization and transformation of their IT systems around the subjects of Infrastructure, Cloud and BigData.
Boosted by Covid, the advent of teleworking and the unfortunate increase in cyber attacks, Octopus Group developed a Cybersecurity practice to support major international accounts and expand internationally. In addition to working for customers in France, the company has expanded to New York and Singapore.
By 2023, the company will have more than 70 employees and total sales of over 6 million euros. Octopus Group's ambition for the next two years is to strengthen its presence in France through its expertise offerings, and to double its workforce and sales.
To support its growth plan, Octopus Group is carrying out a large-scale commercial recruitment program for its Paris-based structure.
